Dynacord

Quite a rarity these days these German amps from the 60s do occasionally come up on the second hand market and are worth looking at for a couple of reasons.

First of all they look fab and are well made.  Most faults are routine servicing issues like damaged or worn pots and jacks so nothing serious nor surprising given the age.

In terms of sounds it is very simple circuit that rewards the player with an aggressive barky rock n roll tone somewhat like a vintage Fender but slightly more refined.   I am reminded of early kinks recordings.

On the Dynacord Twen below the feature I liked the most was the tremolo which has none of the Fender clicking roach sound to it and can be used at a subtle level constantly to add a little vibe or stronger for an Adrian Utley sound
